Aiding Essential Workers With Strategies for COVID-19 Safety
Home Health Aides
An organization that supports direct-care workers nationwide partnered with TraCorp to convert more than a dozen in-person health care training courses to two-hour online courses using Rise®. The intention is that these courses will reach health care agencies across America in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The design team focused on the innovative use of the Rise authoring tool to engage learners. Reflection exercises help learners internalize the information. The series incorporated video to assist with clinical demonstrations such as removing gloves. The team created downloadable job aids to use when needed.
This partnership converted more than 100 hours of online learning, including virtual instructor-led content using Zoom's interactive functions.
