A Scenario-Based Program Helps A Community with Financial Planning.
Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) partnered with TraCorp to create financial empowerment training for the community. The goal was to improve community members' relationships with money, establish financial boundaries, and set goals.
The course went beyond typical information dissemination to include fillable forms for participants' use, from creating action plans to budgeting. The course was built in Articulate Rise® for an optimal experience regardless of the device used to take the course.
The course received accolades from client sponsors and community participants who completed it. (See some testimonials below.)
Coconino County residents can register and take the course for free here.

"I wanted to share some feedback that we received from the Head Start staff who previewed the new Financial Literacy program online. They loved it. Great job on designing and developing a powerful tool for others to use."
"I see this whole program as a strength, it is easy to understand & follow along with the training, very down to earth instructions and explaining. The only challenge I see with this program is making sure it is available for everyone."
"I have attended several money management trainings in person, and I can honestly say this training was way more effective than any of the other ones that I attended. I remember when I was a young single Head Start parent, I had a really bad credit score and wanted so badly to get my finances in order, but I didn’t have the ability to do it at that the time. This program is very step by step and easy to understand, and they also provided great handouts."
