|
Budget Truck implemented a new worldwide point-of-sale system for its rental fleet. TraCorp developed the course using its Bounded Software Simulation techniques for Budget’s 6,000 dealerships. Students were required to practice tasks within simulated scenarios identical to what they will encounter on the job. The course is comprehensive and includes software set up at the dealership along with lessons for frontline and management personnel.

The tutorial demonstrates to potential engineering customers how easy the PIC 32 microprocessor tool set is to use as compared to its competitors. In less than 9 minutes engineers can be fully trained on how to install the tools and begin programming the microprocessor.

| Environmental Defense and PHH Arval– PHH GreenFleet |

Environmental Defense and PHH Arval collaborated to create PHH GreenFleet. The program trains thousands of fleet operators on how to reduce their carbon impact and thus reduce global warming. Drivers learn new fleet operation techniques that save fuel and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Ventana Medical uses the ULTRA tutorial to quickly train lab technicians on the software interface and functions. Students learn from lessons that depict “a day in the life” of a lab technician. Each lesson integrates the software with lab procedures and equipment for a comprehensive educational experience.

TraCorp worked with the Federal Bankruptcy Court to develop a blended learning approach for their vCal court scheduling system. The project included developing an exercise rich training course with a companion online user manual. A marketing demo was created for courts not using the system.

The eRCA (Root Cause Analysis) course teaches students how to have both personal and professional success solving problems. Lessons cover the appropriate Apollo tools to support root cause analysis. Learners practice solving problems using Apollo methods within the RealityCharting® charting environment.

Starting with a baseline computer science course, TraCorp developed a PDA delivered mobile learning course. The purpose was to give students an alternative online/offline learning platform. The CIS 133A course was reformatted for optimum PDA delivery. Each lesson concluded with a “Rags to Riches” game so students could test their knowledge.

The US Air Force Expeditionary Center provides our nation with strategic agility to deploy, employ, and sustain military power in response to crises worldwide. TraCorp and TKC Communications were contracted to develop highly interactive online learning to train USAF personnel on its organizational structure and related operations. Course information is brought to life using rich animations and a variety of interactive exercises designed to engage the learner.

Avnet worked with TraCorp to co-develop interactive online training to educate employees on the operations at Avnet distribution facilities worldwide. Avnet supplied the storyboards and TraCorp created the interactive exercises and media. Employees who take the course learn how the warehouses are designed to maximize both cost efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

| Banner Health – Radiological Weapons of Mass Destruction |

Banner Health worked with TraCorp to develop training on the medical management of weapons of mass destruction for Banner medical personnel.
The second of a 2-part series, this course deals with the potential misuses of radiological weapons, the threats posed by radiation and the treatment for patients who are exposed or contaminated. TraCorp used detailed animations to illustrate highly technical concepts such as the detonation processes of fission and fusion.

| Qualcomm – Microsoft Outlook Calendar |

TraCorp and CompUSA worked with Qualcomm to create a blended learning solution to teach employees how to use the Microsoft Outlook Calendar. TraCorp developed instructor-led training materials including a student guide, instructor notes, and supporting slides. Once the curriculum was developed, TraCorp created a dynamic video presentation by digitally capturing a live training session and synchronizing the slide presentation. The result was a Coordinated Viewer™ self-paced course that delivered as a remote standalone CD/DVD, a downloadable file or a streaming media program on the Internet.

| SM&A – Oracle Time & Expense Reporting |

TraCorp worked with CompUSA and SM&A to create online training for the Oracle Time and Expense Reporting software application using animated “show me” exercises. The “show me” instructional strategy incorporates a series of task-based lessons written for a wide ranging demographic profile. Each shows how a task is performed using an animated example with synchronized narrative audio.

| USAF/Boeing – Combat Survivor/Evader Locator (CSEL) Simulator |
|
TraCorp worked with the US Air Force and Boeing subject matter experts to create custom online training for the Combat Survivor/Evader Locator Handheld Radio (HHR). The goal was to create a simulated free play version of the CSEL Radio to operate in a virtual (computer-based) environment. The simulator provides on-demand training so students could practice critical tasks identical to what they would have to do in the field to prepare the radio for field use.

| USAF Expeditionary Center – Stage Management |
|
TraCorp and TKC Communications worked with the US Air Force Expeditionary Center to create highly interactive online learning for Stage personnel. The goal was to create a course and assessment combination that would qualify to manage aircrews at air fields and strategic hubs. The course includes software simulation with easy to follow step-by-step bounded simulations to guide stage personnel through software processes they will be required to do on the job. Calculations are performed, forms are completed and job aids are accessed and printed to successfully complete the training.

| Ventana Medical System – HER2 SISH |

Ventana Medical System hired TraCorp to develop online training for technicians and pathologists to become certified to run and interpret results of Ventana’s HER2 Protein Test. This protein test helps determine the correct treatment for certain types of breast cancer. Ventana’s goal was to ensure a high level of consistency in the protein test preparation, slide creation and in determining test results. TraCorp used a variety of learning strategies, from informational and knowledge-based training to highly interactive training with near-to-life practice exercises.
